HB Driving School is a safe haven for those looking to learn in a progressive and positive environment. We don't believe in negative feedback, just areas for improvement and positive reinforcement. Our founder Hamayoun Butt developed his passion for teaching whilst learning how to drive himself. After a brilliant experience with his own instructor he was determined to provide the same happy, helpful and whole hearted service. As an A-Grade Advanced Driving Instructor (DVSA approved) Hamayoun is passionate about teaching in a manner that makes drivers self sufficient, give them the necessary time and ultimately sets them up for success.

FAQs

  • Can I be picked up and dropped off to a different location?

    This request is common for our students, especially those that learn to drive in sixth form or college. We always recommend letting your instructor know in advance if you're changing a pickup/drop off point so that they can plan their day and ensure they aren't late to an other lessons and appointments.

  • What happens on my first lesson?

    When you begin to take driving lessons with us, your driving instructor will always start by covering several checks and will run through the basics with you. These involve an eyesight check, inspecting your provisional license and showing you the basics of the car such as adjusting your seat and mirrors and what each pedal does.

    Once this has been covered your instructor will then take you to a quiet area where you can begin your lessons. The first topics you will cover are moving off and stopping, turning left/right and basic clutch control.

  • Do you work evenings and weekends?

    Yes, we do work evenings and weekends and will endeavour to fit in with your needs whenever possible. Please inform us of your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.
